I was so impressed with our partners Hamblen County Schools and HC*EXCELL, while presenting together at this year’s East Tennessee Federal Programs Conference. It is an honor to work with Suzanne Wampler, principal at Fairview Marguerite Elementary School, and @Deb Miksa, Arts Build Skills coordinator, on how to effectively integrate the arts into classroom curriculum.

“We explained the history of the Arts Build Skills program, how it has grown, and how it has been strengthened since teachers have attended the creatED by Crayola professional development trainings here in Hamblen County,” Art Coordinator Deb Miksa said.

At Crayola, we cherish the opportunity to work with schools and districts to focus Educator development on Creative Leadership, Multiliteracies, Family Engagement and STEAM. Please feel free to email me directly <email link> to discuss how the Crayola Team can help your school or district weave the arts into your strategic goals, curriculum, and lesson plans.
