As an arts school we are constantly trying to see all student and staff needs through the lens of creativity and artistic experience.  One constant barrier, is funding.  While we have developed many deep partnerships in the community, innovation always outpaces financial need.  The CCAC grant allowed us to explore more deeply, emotional regulation and social emotional learning through artistic process more intentionally,  The idea had been there, as an arts school, for several years, we just couldn't finalize how to do it.  This grant allowed us to conceptualize a new system, engage with a consultant and develop physical resources to support implementation.   The grant process was easy to follow and provided significant guidance in developing an implementation plan.  So gather those creative ideas and get ready to bring them to fruition with the support of the CCAC grant!
